SONY α6700 mirrorless camera

image.png

This camera is favored for filmmaking due to its high-resolution sensor, therefore it can ensure my work's details. Additionally, it has a long battery life, which is also a great advantage for long shooting sessions. Its compatibility with multiple lenses also offers a versatile range for different shooting conditions. Despite such flaws like lacking wireless connectivity to monitors, the Sony a6700 is still a suitable choice for beginners like me.

Sony 18-105mm Lens

This lens will accompany my Sony a6700 for now! It is really popular among amateur filmmakers for its diverse focal range, which makes it adaptable to difference shooting scenarios. The initial F/4 aperture can ensure the brightness throughout the zoom range so it can provide flexibility in different lighting conditions. Finally, it comes with built-in Optical Steady Shot image stabilization, hence reduces impact of camera shakes (this is my favorite feature of this lens!).

TRIPOD SIRUI T-025X

The tripod is light, easy to carry and has all of the most essential features a tripod can have. It allows us to have our camera stabilized, film shots like panning left to right, up to down, etc. However, its height is limited so we can't do shots which are either too high or too low.

RODE WIRELESS MIC

The microphone is perfectly affordable and portable. It is also quite convenient as we can easily connect the mic to our device through Bluetooth connection. However, this means that the transmission range will be limited and we can not film the actors too far away from our connected device. It can be minor issue for us to hide the mic, too.
