​PROPS & COSTUMES

For the film's opening title, the props we need mainly focus on the character's outfit and accessories. The settings are public spaces, so we didn't have to prepare any special props.

​From Minh's background, I envision him as a person who goes for the laid-back minimalistic clothing style with the dominant color being dark colors like black, grey and brown (in many shades). The outfit will be styled casually, for the purpose of being contrasted with Vy in terms of personality and income, as well as emphasizing his serious personality. Aside from clothes, Minh will also need his phone, a file of documents and a backpack for this opening title.

Vy is the complete opposite of Minh. She goes for light clothes, styled in a combination of both vintage and contemporary style. Her outfit will be styled neatly, showing that she put a lot of dedication into her looks. This will further imply that she belongs to the higher social income class when comparing to Minh. In the opening title, apart from her outfit, Vy will need a (tote)bag and her phone.
